Weld complex assemblies as required using MIG or TIG welding techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The ability to weld complex assemblies as required using MIG or TIG welding techniques.
Fabricate small components as required.
The safe use of various equipment. I.E. Hydraulic bushing presses, drill presses, band saws, spot welders, grinders, hand tools, etc.
Use and Understand various paperwork, including schedules, bar code system for tracking projects, prints, & tech standards.
Fork Lift operation.
Overhead hoist and/or crane operation and safety.
Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance.
Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
Regular, consistent attendance.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with hoist available, repetitively use right hand for firm/heavy grasping, and repetitively use left hand for firm/heavy grasping. The employee is frequently required to repetitively use right hand for simple/light grasping and repetitively use left hand for simple/light grasping. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with hoist available. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the ability to hear instructions from others.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training, Certifications, Licenses
Welding certificate preferred but not required. Fork lift license required.
Heavy gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection.
